Heading to Mediation? What to Expect.

Posted by Dev Sethi | Apr 15, 2014 | 0 Comments

Truth is more than 95% of civil cases, including personal injury cases, settle before trial. Most often they are resolved in a proceeding called a mediation or settlement conference.

There are many benefits to settlement including certainty, control and closure. You know what the result will be, you have a say in the result and the case is done then and there -- no lingering issues or threats of an appeal.

But as a client, you need to be prepared for the process. If you are heading to a mediation or settlement conference, spend a few minutes reading Dev Sethi's article on the process. You will find it here.
