Dev Sethi Appointed to the State Bar of Arizona's Civil Practice and Procedure Committee

Attorney Dev Sethi at Kinerk, Schmidt & Sethi, PLLC was recently appointed to the State Bar of Arizona's Civil Practice and Procedure Committee. This honor is only given to attorneys who show expertise in their area of practice and can prove that they have a knowledge that is well-respected by others.

According to the Arizona State Bar, the mission of the committee is to study and make recommendations on proposals or issues that involve court rules. The committee will study and then recommend and inform lawmakers on proposals or cases that involve the Rules of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Superior Court and the local courts.

These proposals and issues are submitted by the State Bar or the Bench and the committee will review them, looking at the many aspects of the issue and returning advice or a decision. The committee also has the authority to initiate rules or amendments on all court levels when it is deemed necessary.

This committee is an essential component of the Arizona State Bar and helps to clarify many issues that need a second opinion. Attorney Dev Sethi was appointed to the committee because he has displayed a comprehensive understanding of law and has the discernment and authority necessary.
