• Check the traffic around your vehicle & begin slowing down
• Pull off of the road before poor visibility makes it difficult to do so

• Once stopped, turn off your lights (including emergency flashers)
• Set your emergency brake and take your foot off of the brake
• Stay inside of your vehicle with your seatbelt buckled
• Be on the lookout for downed power lines or traffic signals
• When approaching an intersection, stop before passing through
